COME PICK AT CRANE ORCHARDS
Farmed since the 1880's and currently on our 6th generation of Crane farmers, our orchard strives to be one of the finest u-pick orchards in Michigan. We offer many different varieties of apples, peaches & sweet cherries for u-pickers to choose from when in season.
Here at Crane Orchards we strive to give you and your family a great experience to create fall memories as you pick apples, get lost in our corn maze, and pick pumpkins (later in the season).
Our goal is to create an environment in which all feel accepted and welcomed on our orchard.
With that being said, a friendly reminder that our orchard and the pie pantry/restaurant are separate businesses. We are all extended family and wish each other the most success, but are separately owned and operated, so please try to address praise or concerns to the appropriate business. (We LOVE hearing that the pie pantry’s pies are out of this world, but they love hearing it even more, as so many hours and so much love is put into them on their end.)

U-PICK APPLES
Update: due to rain we are closing today for the remainder of the day Wednesday Sept 3rd. We will reopen tomorrow at 10 AM, weather permitting.
We are now open 10am-6pm daily including Labor Day through Fall Apple season (close to end of October), weather permitting. We kick off our season picking these varieties:
🍎Gala apples
🍎McIntosh apples
🍏 Blondee
🍎 Apples are $1.65/lb
We accept cash or card. There is a 3% processing fee for all cards. We do not accept checks.
🍎 We will be opening Honeycrisp apples for u-pick Saturday September 6th.
We have wagons if you are planning to pick lots of fruit but don’t want to carry it all or are unable to, but please remember the wagons are for fruit only. If you need a wagon for your children we encourage you to bring one to use from home.
The corn maze will also open for the season this Saturday, and will be open during U-Pick hours. Adults are $8/ea, ages 6-10 are $5/ea, and ages 5 and under are free.
We also encourage bringing reusable bags to pick in. We have plastic bags available to purchase for your fruit at the orchard too if needed.
Please always remember to call or check our most recent posts for updates the day you plan to visit if the weather is questionable.
Dogs are not allowed in the orchard, pumpkin patch, or corn maze due to agricultural regulations. Thank you for understanding.
***Also please note we are the Orchard on the south side of the road with the white picket fence. Our orchard, the orchard across the street, and the restaurant, are all separate businesses.***
CORN MAZE
Our Fall corn maze (over 20 acres!) opens Labor Day Weekend every year, and runs through the duration of our Fall Apple Season (typically close to end of October), while the Apple U-Pick is open.
Every year our theme changes, and this year we've decided to focus on highlighting two medical facilities that have impacted our family in a large way.

THE PAVILIONS IN WALNUT GROVE
These two pavilions are perfect for weddings, birthday parties, family gatherings, corporate gatherings, and other special events. Nestled in the Walnut Grove of Crane Orchards there couldn’t be a more beautiful location. Use your imagination to make it your special day.
Both pavilions feature a cement pad floor and plenty of parking surrounding the area. Each pavilion is 30′ x 40′ – plenty of room to host small to large crowds between May through August.
